This is a great opportunity for an experienced GM Technician to find a home. Responsibilities The heart of what we do is helping customers keep their cars running newer, longer. For many, this means helping them maintain their vehicle to avoid repairs while for others, it means fixing something that has stopped performing as it should. Our technicians have the skills and certifications to diagnose what is wrong with a vehicle and to provide the right solution. We help customers with all kinds of car care solutions. And we can't give them our best or earn their trust unless every member of the crew is putting customers first. Job Responsibilities of Automotive Technician: Diagnoses and repairs to specifications -- brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems. Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis. Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology. Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur. Maintains an organized neat and safe bay. Qualifications Maintains an organized neat and safe bay. 1-2 years experience working as a mechanic (GM experience is preferred) ASE Certified A high level of motivation and energy to succeed is required.
