Body Shop Manager The Body Shop Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Auto Body repair business including staffing, scheduling, production, computer estimating, auto appraisers license and insurance company interface. Responsible for leading all activities within a shop to achieve a positive sales results. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and retention through the direction of Shop staff in the performance of quality vehicle repair and maintenance services. Responsibilities: * Managing Body Shop Clerk & Technician staff, assisting with scheduling, payroll, inventory & tool needs * Ensure Technicians workflows are going smoothly and customer needs are prioritized * Managing technician productivity and work flow * Document all repairs & orders properly * Oversee vehicle washing, waxing, revitalizing processes * Leading our service management & reconditioning activities * Interacting with external vendors on parts inventory * Required to maintain the profitability of a department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction. * Required to understand and keep abreast of all federal, state and local regulations that affect their operations. * Account Receivable and Collections * Developing and maintaining relationships with insurance companies * Effective vehicle production and inventory control * Business Development, Increasing Sales and Profit Requirements: * Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors. * Valid driver's license with clean driving record. * At least 2 years of automotive management and automotive customer service experience * A hard-working can-do attitude * Excellent interpersonal and management skills Benefits: * Medical Plan * Dental Plan * Vision Plan * 401(k) Savings Plan * Basic Life Insurance * Accident & Critical Illness Insurance
