SUMMARY The Body Shop Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Auto Body repair business including staffing, scheduling, production, computer estimating, auto appraisers license and insurance company interface. Responsible for leading all activities within a shop to achieve a positive sales results. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and retention through the direction of Shop staff in the performance of quality vehicle repair and maintenance services. What We Offer: * 401K * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Short and Long Term Disability * Company paid life insurance * Paid holidays and vacation * Training & Tuition Reimbursement * Brand new state-of-the-art facility * Family owned and operated * Employee pricing on all parts, service and vehicle purchases * Use of company vehicles or demonstrators for eligible employees Responsibilities: * Assess damage on vehicles and write thorough and accurate estimates via computer on costs and time required for repairs for the customer and insurance company. * Have a strong focus on production and quality standards. * Work in coordination with all personnel to facilitate the repair process. * Train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of the body shop personnel. * Establish and maintain a good working relationship with insurance companies and appraisers. * Establish and maintain a good working relationship with customers to encourage repeat and referral business. * Quality check completed jobs. * Handle customer complaints. * Ensure that work areas are kept clean. * Account for all documents and ensure that none are missing. * Follow up on parts orders to ensure parts availability. * Consult with technicians and insurance companies on progress of repairs. * Assist with booking of repair orders. * Serving as a liaison between technicians and customers. * Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer. * Distribute work between technicians. * Prioritize required services. * Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience. Qualifications: * At least 3 years previous body shop manager experience * Technical automotive knowledge * Demonstrated ability to manage others * Organized and friendly personality * Dealership experience preferred
