Duties:

Assist our saw techs and learn to cut and craft stone using saws to make landscaping and building material products. Perform cleanup and stack pallets of stone.

Required:

• Be physically fit and able to lift repeatedly.
• Be able to comfortably lift 80 lbs. correctly bending at the knees.
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery.
• Energetic but careful and methodical.
• Comfortable working in a loud shop wear personal safety equipment to protect ears, eyes, hands, feet.
• Comfortable working year-round, in hot or cold weather.
• This is your primary, not a secondary job.

Preferred:

• Some command of Spanish, if not bilingual.

Schedule:

Working as a saw shop laborer is great for students because we will work around your school schedule. It's great as an additional job (we're adding a 3rd shift soon). While the shift hours are negotiable, these are the general hours of our shifts:

2nd F/T Shift: 3:30pm to 12pm
