Customer Service Representative/ Dispatcher Summary: The mission of American Leak Detection is to find leaks in a manner that is non-invasive, efficient, and environmentally sound. We will give prompt, professional, and courteous service to all customers, while providing the best leak detection services in the world. The person answering the phone is the first person who customers interact with and sets the tone for future interactions by making a good impression. Candidate Attributes: We are looking for a customer service professional with proven experience in a multi-facetted office environment. This position requires over-the-phone customer service, detailed information management, concise but pleasant communication skills and propensity for finding solutions. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements include the following (Other duties may be assigned) * Answer calls and record information accurately such as customer's name, address, etc. * Interpreting customer needs and determine scope of work. * Schedule service calls, and dispatch technicians to the appropriate jobs. * Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Google Suite and other software programs; Quickbooks knowledge required. * Language Skills: Applicant must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, with good grammar, punctuation and spelling; and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, other employees, clients, customers, and the general public. * Strong Customer Service skills: Your voice tone should be friendly, confident, and reassuring. The ability to empathize with customers is a plus. * Mathematical Skills: Applicant must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, proportions, and percentages, knowledge of area, circumference, and volume; and have the ability to apply basic math concepts.- * Experience working with maps, knowledge of geographical area, and giving directions. * Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the company. * Filing and organizing daily paperwork. * Occasionally manage multiple tasks and handle high stress situations. * Wages based on experience ($15 to 17 per hour) Job Type: Full-time Required experience: * Quickbooks: 2 year * Customer Service: 2 year * Microsoft Office: 2 year
