America s Car-Mart is seeking a friendly, customer service oriented individual, for a Customer Support role in our IT Department. Currently Americas' Car-Mart, Inc. is the nation's largest publicly traded buy-here pay-here organization in the country. The IT Customer Support associate would assist the Technology team by answering calls and supporting system issues, creating job tickets and assigning them to the appropriate team member in order to obtain timely resolution. Responsibilities include: * Answer Support calls in a professional and courteous manner. * Display great customer service skills through phone calls, e-mail and personal contacts. * Utilize Track-It ticket system and document pertinent data regarding IT issues. * Assign Track-It tickets to the appropriate team using outlined procedures. * Support smaller IT issues involving account unlock, passwords reset, and basic trouble shooting, to include remote desktop to identify problem. * Escalate tickets to triage teams responsible for large IT issues. * Complete in-house training to instill basic knowledge of our various software applications. * Complete administrative tasks involving asset procurement and management. * Test new application development programs and communicate concerns to ensure new applications meet internal standards. * Knowledge of Networking and Windows operating systems. SQL knowledge a plus. * Follow up with the responsible parties to ensure that our IT calls are addressed in a timely manner. * Daily attendance required to ensure all duties are completed in a timely fashion. * Hours we are staffed from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Saturday. We operate on a rotating schedule to ensure good work/life balance for all of our associates.
