Construction Manager

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER GENERAL: To satisfy our constant need for expertise, we are actively seeking dynamic technical professionals with all levels of information technology and communications skills. Applicants must posses the ability to work under changing priorities in a rapidly expanding company, interface with other departments/employees & meet deadlines frequently. Some RF experience is needed and candidates should have a proven ability to work independently as well as within a group setting and a desire to be a part of a company dedicated to the development and installation of best-in-class assured communications products, systems, and services. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Manage and take charge of construction projects and personnel. * Travel required 75% of the time. * Clean Driving and background record. Must have the ability to pass government background check. * Flexible individual with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to changing environments. * Coordinate work schedules. * Troubleshoot, diagnose, & resolve installation and hardware problems. * Meet with clients and perform preconstruction site visit of buildings, campuses, subterranean levels, and other areas where RF signals may need to be enhanced. * Demonstrated ability to work with Windows, PC hardware, Microsoft Office Software, Visio, Microsoft Outlook and other basic applications. * Customer service is a must; perfect candidates will pride themselves on their professionalism and appearance, should be outgoing & personable. * Excellent communication and problem solving skills. * Resolves customer requests, questions and complaints frequently requiring analysis of situations to determine best use of resources. * Construction Project Planning, Internal & External Resource Planning * Scope Development and Understanding of Construction Processes * Ability to understand construction prints * Experience Leading a Team of Construction Field Personnel * Serve as the primary internal manager for all assigned construction activities * Understand internal and external expectations related to schedule, cost, & quality * Drive the construction team and sub-contractors to meet these objectives * Maintain an accurate status of all construction activities at all times and be able to communicate the status through reports, e-mails, meetings, conference calls. * Ensure sufficient sub-contractor resources are available at all times to meet build plan objectives Manage sub-contractor scope issues, quality issues, and change control processes REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Basic understanding of cable pulling procedures and construction related scenarios. Management of IT based installation projects and / or electrical, communications construction projects, Understanding of how to read construction prints. Preferred Experience with DAS
