CNC Programmer Machinist 58061

DESCRIPTION: Direct hire position with a strong company, tops in its class! This is a 2nd shift position. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Programming, operating and maintaining CNC production equipment used in the production of quality thermoplastic and thermoset injection molds; * 2nd shift position; * Downloading requirement data to CAM software and creating machining program with current tooling and feed-rates; * Creating roughing and finishing machine paths; * Performing setups; * Working with others to understand which tools are to be machined, and in what order they are scheduled. EDUCATION: 2-year degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required. REQUIRED SKILLS: * 2-4+ years of CNC operation and programming; * Ability to read and work off of blueprints and tool drawings; * Strong mechanical and problem solving skills; * Strong organizational, planning and communication skills.
