WHAT WILL YOU DO As part of the maintenance team you will plan maintenance worknotifications and contribute to planning major outages asrequired.. * Perform a field review of facilities and equipment for eachrequest to understand the work environment and determine thetotal scope of work * Lead shut down pre-briefs and debriefs relevant to work plannedfor the outage * Evaluate work requirements and assign appropriate executionresources (craftsmen, Contractors, Specialty Vendors, etc.) * Estimate and document the cost of the work associated with eachwork order * Prepare documentation (drawings, specifications, standards, procedures, etc.), detailed list of craft labor skills, parts,material, safety and special equipment necessary to perform the work is identified * Oversee receipt material for planned work; ensure the availability of special tools, supplies and/or equipment needed to perform planned work * Prepare and issue material requests for Stores or Purchasing toobtain the necessary materials and assure the cost coding is correctly charged against the correct work order * Create, develop, and maintain the SAP task list library; prepare work packages, (precision work instructions, pictures,OEM manual procedures, etc.) using Microsoft Office and SAPtools, and store technical documentation as appropriate * Review completed work feedback forms and update job plansaccordingly. Engage craftsmen in work execution model bysoliciting their feedback. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE CONSIDERED Associates or technicaltrade degree or equivalent experience. Maintenance Plannerrequired * Minimum 3 years experience with refinery and/or millprecision repair work, planning techniques; and strongmechanical, pipe fitting, electrical and/or controls aptitude 3+years in a mechanical craft, industrial millwright or mechanicexperience, 5+ years preferred * Fundamental understanding ofreliability excellence model desired.
