We're growing our Customer Service team!! SUMMARY The Customer Service Liaison assists with site operations on a day-to-day basis ensuring that work is done safely, on time, within budget and to the right quality standards. The incumbent is responsible for working with all ofthe RBU s to ensure the highest level of Customer service and support ensuring all requirements are met on a daily basis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Plans, organizes and controls the day-to-day operation of the department; develops and implements policies and programs as necessary. * Daily communication between manufacturing planning group and internal customers. * Utilizes strategic planning and management of his/her site resources, services and processes. * Implement best practices to increase productivity without compromising quality. * Maintain a cooperative working relationship with the RBU s. * Monitor, measure and demonstrate achievement of agreed upon quality and service standards and initiate corrective action when sub-standard performance is identified. * Monitor production order schedules and expedites delivery per customer requests. * Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer disputes. * Serves as liaison with Manufacturing, Engineering and Shipping personnel. QUALIFICATIONS * HS Diploma or GED required * Associates or Bachelor s Degree desired or 2+ years experience. * Design background a plus. * Leadership ability to provide solutions with peer group and management * Self-motivated; ability to work with minimal supervision * 1-2 years experience working as a customer service representative. * Manufacturing environment experience preferred * Comfortable working within a fast paced environment. * Ability to learn new technology. (Dash, Closet CAD Pro, Epicor) * Strong communication skills, written and verbal. * Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. * Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. * Work requires continual attention to detail.
