About this job

Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by interacting with internal and external customers in a professional, courteous and ethical manner. Acts as initial point of contact for all GAP claims calls. Initiates claim on first point of contact. Track and monitor GAP claims process, sending out notices at required timelines to customers and other entities to stay compliant with state and insurance regulatory statutes. Review any potential claim impacting information with an Adjuster in an effort to make the process more efficient and to reach department performance and customer service goals. Answer incoming calls from contract holders, lien holders, insurance companies and dealers while providing prompt and courteous customer service in response to their needs. Proactively pursue information necessary to complete the claims calculations and documentation After claim completion, gather all necessary information related to the claim and set up for scanning and archiving. Stay up-to-date on CCC litigation and evaluate how changes will affect GAP claim procedures. Make recommendations to management on any procedural changes. Work in a team environment, assisting team members with completion of job duties as needed. Any other duties as assigned by management that can be safely performed.
Experience Two to four years of customer service experience required. Experience as a warranty administrator or dealership cashier preferred.
