DeNooyer Chevrolet is looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven leader to fill our Service Administrator position. Industry experience, some automotive mechanical knowledge, and a high school diploma are required. An Associates degree or higher as well as GM experience are preferred. A basic list of duties and requirements are below: POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Administrator will focus on supporting the Service Manager with all administrative tasks and technician support. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * High attention to detail * Strong Administrative Background * Comprehensive knowledge of GM Warranty, training and P&P * Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and other computer skills * Valid Michigan Drivers license and an insurable driving record ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Respsonsible for warranty compliance by reviewing warranty claims and reviewing all claims to ensure proper compliance. * Provide warranty support with active service manager authorizations, assisting technicians with labor times/ops, OLH etc. * Work with Parts Department to properly catalog and scrap warranty return parts per GM P&P * Enroll technicians on appropriate training paths, working with them to identify training opportunities, enroll and support MOE program * Prepare and submit weekly payroll for service department * Oversee rental department profitability, CTP compliance and utilization * Responsible for keeping technician schedules/PTO, training paths, team structure and hosting technician meetings * Follow all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations, including OSHA and MIOSHA * All other duties as assigned PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: * Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds * Ability to work in conditions such as: varying temperatures, weather elements, noise, dust, and fumes. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays
