This is an exciting opportunity in Dallas, TX for an RV Technician. Cummins North America is where you can work on industry leading engine technology such as 40hp to 2500 hp engines or onan gensets.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Executes repairs and rebuilds on power generation products in a service workshop under supervision

  • Applies documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and scheduled maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools

  • Disassemble power generation equipment

  • Assists with completing required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens

  • Completes training in line with skill and business requirements

  • Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety&Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor

Qualifications

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school or community college graduates preferred.

  • Apprentice Trained Power Generation/Electrical Technician (Preferred)

  • Minimal level workshop related experience required

  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation productsHigh Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience

  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

  • Current relevant electrical certification

  • Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)

Physical Requirements (times are approximate)

Standing 7. 5 hours per day

  • Pushing/Pulling 4. 0 hours per day

  • Sitting 1. 5 hours per day

  • Lifting 1. 5 hours per day

  • Lifting up to a maximum of 100 pounds

  • Bending 3. 0 hours per day
