Responsibilities: * Keep up with the inventory of the new and used trucks. Ensure saleable inventory is started weekly and properly displayed in the dealership. * Possess the ability to obtain customer specifications, details, and preferences in developing a bid for the sale of trucks. * Keeps up with current inventory, trucks on order, stock, sold. * Be able to develop a good and positive relationship with the customers externally and internally. * Demonstrate honest and ethical business practices. * Be able to prospect and market. * Demonstrate basic computer skills. * Ability to learn and utilize TOPS (truck order proposal system). * Possess the ability to obtain a CDL License. * Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. * Be able to use CRM and input data into the system on a daily basis. * Time management and highly organized skills are necessary. * Must be able to develop a sales strategy for a territory. * Any other duties that are assigned by management. Flexibility is necessary to meet the business needs of the company. Qualifications: * 2 to 4 years of related experience in the trucking industry and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * College education is desired, but not necessary. * Excellent communication skills internally and externally. * Be able to multitask and meet deadlines, when necessary. * Possess the skills to promote and maintain a positive work environment. * PC skills required along with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel. * Ability to communicate effectively through use of email. * Must be self-motivated and have good written and verbal communication skills. * Must conduct his / her self in a professional manner with internal and external customers. * Be able to obtain a CDL license Core Brand Promise * Access to Technology Along with an unwavering commitment to provide the highest level of service possible, we must make technology available to our customers that enhances and personalizes their experience and makes them want to come back.
