About this job

Responsible for monitoring machines, and a lot of corrective and preventative maintenance to make sure the lines and machines keep running. Specifically, candidates will be working with:

1. Conveyors
2. Manipulators
3. Troubleshooting basic Allen Bradley PLC's
4. Wiring control panels
5. Troubleshooting equipment and machines up to 480volts
6. Re-wiring motors and changing out motors and AC/DC Drives
7. Utilizing blueprints and schematics
8. Working with automated equipment and some robotics

Some additional skills needed/tasks include:
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics efficiently
- Use basic power and hand tools
- Hot Glue systems (Hot melt technologies)
- Headliners- parts being mounted, wiring harnesses all glued to underside of headliner
- Basic Rivet Gun Maintenance
- DC Torque Guns (Atlas Copco)
- Mechanical punches with pneumatic cylinders
- Ultrasonic punching and welding
- Conveyors, VFD (variable frequency drives)

Rudimentary basic electrical knowledge is a requirement
Knowing how to read, troubleshoot and wire by schematic is a requirement
Knowing the difference between a proximity switch and a laser sensor is a requirement
Knowing the difference between a servo motor and a VFD is a requirement
Knowing how to set-up basic parameters is a requirement
Knowing how a motor start/stop circuit functions is a requirement
Knowing the difference between a 4 and 8 pole squirrel cage motor is a requirement
Knowing the difference between AC/DC is a requirement

80% of the day will be spent performing corrective and preventative maintenance
10% Reactive Maintenance- Breakdowns/Installations etc.
10% Documentation of PM's and Maintenance Team Meetings
