Paramedic - Transport - Full-time / Part-time

Job Details:

The Paramedic is responsible for providing care and transportation to pediatric and neonatal patients via ground ambulance, helicopter and fixed wing aircraft. The Paramedic is expected to maintain the readiness of equipment, availability of supplies and complete all related paperwork. They should be self motivated, highly organized, have strong communication skills and have the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of ALS Paramedic experience is required
• Current Texas Certification or Licensure as a Paramedic
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Texas Drivers License and Auto Liability Insurance
• ACLS Certification, PALS Certification, NRP Certification and Stable Certification all must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment
• TNCC (audit within 6 months of employment, every 4 years thereafter)
• Advanced Certification (FP-C, CCEMTP or C-NPT) must be obtained within 2 years
• Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (during orientation)

*Applicants must comply with the department Fitness for Duty policy which includes a weight limit of 250 pounds including flight gear (uniform, jacket, boots and helmet).
