Service Advisor responsibilities * Maintain a professional appearance * Greeting customers promptly * Utilize dealership software and systems to maximize available information to the customer * Obtaining customer and vehicle information * Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer * Determining and recommending needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle * Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts * Establish follow up and completion time * Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently * Verifying that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order * Explaining all completed work and charges to customers Requirements: * Have a valid driver s license * Be able to pass a drug screening * Maintain a positive attitude * Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, via the phone and via email with customers. * Above average customer service and communication skills * Proficient with typing ability, standard Microsoft Office Programs and basic computer skills
