HHA/CNA/DCW provide in-home assistance with ADL's:
*Assist the client with moving around, help with getting in and out of bed, in and out of a wheelchair, in and out of the bathtub
*Provide assistance with personal care: bathing, shampooing, dressing, preparation of meals
*Provides assistance with light housekeeping: dusting, vaccuming, laundry, dishwashing,change bedding
*Assist client with shopping with or without them
Provide reminders for client to take medications
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Some experience is preferred, not required
CPR (Infant, Child, Adult) Classes provided if needed
Reliable transportation, valid license and insurance required
Obtain clearances, Act 151 and Act 114
Must pass background check Act 34
