The Corporate Chefs mission at Boqueria is to train and support the kitchen team so they can consistently carry out the Executive Chefs culinary vision. We are a growing company and the Corporate Chef will have a strong impact on the company's overall success, by working directly with Executive Chef to maintain the brand's standards. Responsibilities: * Foster a culture of passion, excellence and accountability in each kitchen. * Help define and monitor kitchen standard operating procedures to ensure food safety and consistency with the brands standards. * Maximize profitability by coaching Chef de Cuisines to effectively manage food and labor cost. Qualifications: * Effective communication skills. * Ability to organize, prioritize and anticipate. * Basic computer and written communication skills * Ability to form and lead a strong BOH team. * Understanding of financial implications of operational decisions ( ability order product and schedule labor within budget) * Thorough knowledge of food handling practices. Food Protection Certificate. * Culinary skills and knowledge necessary to execute entire Boqueria menu to the desired standards.
