AMADA Senior Care is actively seeking energetic and professional In-Home Caregivers in the Longmont, Boulder, Broomfield area to work with the elderly in their home. Applicant must be willing to work with a variety of behaviors, disabilities, and limited independent living skills. The provider is there to help the client with most of their daily activities. Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing personal assistance, emotional support, to adults with developmental disabilities.
Assist patients with daily activities
Teach basic living or other adaptive skills to patients
Accompany clients on outings to provide assistance.
Care and be responsible for the client when scheduled
Requirements for the contract:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have to have dependable and reliable transportation with the ability to safely transport
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to pass background check
Must have passion for actively working to improve the lives of elderly and persons with disabilities
Must have skills in providing behavioral interventions in an effective, calm, and caring manner
Caregivers need to possess the following characteristics:
Passion for actively working to improve the lives of persons with disabilities
Skilled in providing behavioral interventions in an effective, calm, and caring manner
Desire to work closely with a community network of family members, clients, and agencies
Able to perform the physical demands of the position may include but are not limited to: Lifting, cleaning, cooking and any other non-medical needs.
