Category Advisory Tools Development Manager



POSITION PURPOSE:

  • Develops and manages category advisory tools including category management and space strategy, applications and platforms to align with internal and external clients' current and future needs
  • Provides support to internal customers in the design, development, and support of tools to position Coca-Cola as Best in Class with external customers
  • Enables the system to leverage the power of category, and space tools and technology to drive wins with external customers and positively influence Coca-Cola goal to become our customers' most valuable supplier and indispensable partner
  • Supports the dialogue between category advisory and IT for tools and technology to ensure enablement of all tool development processes to benefit Coca-Cola and external stakeholders


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage existing space & category management software / tools to ensure latest versions are being utilized and steward any technology upgrades needs, e.g. Nielsen, Richmix, Space Planning, Planogram Generator, Floor Planning (JDA), Apollo Space Planning, Designer Workstation (EYC), CKB (Category Knowledge Base), Space tools supplemental customization, Batch Printing, IMPro/Image Library, Planogram Central, etc.

  • Engage in relevant training and industry seminars to build knowledge around available software, tools & technology.

  • Develop and commercialize software, tools and template solutions and the implementation of Coca-Cola analytical automated systems to all Coca-Cola business Insights, Category Planning, Space Strategy, and Analysis personnel. Ensure tools enable the Coke system to be at the forefront of industry capability (e.g. space automation development).

  • Manage process to enable planogram generation & to maximize efficiencies:
    • Manage IMPro/Image Library.
    • Planogram Converter
    • Manage POG repository (PDF Central)
    • Automation of scripts to deploy a multitude of POGs into the system by customer
    • Planogram Generator

  • Manage space & category management software application installs across the organization.

  • Technical liaison with IT for all necessary software integration issues including customer-specific technology support.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field

Preferred Level: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field


Experience:

  • 5 yrs. in CPG Industry
  • VB.net, AWS Cloud, Hadoop and Teradata a plus

General Skill, Knowledge and Abilities skills

  • Data analysis and interpretation (5 yrs.)
  • Technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in:
  • Scripting in various languages i.e. Sequel, Automation Pro
  • Basic Skills: VB, C#,
  • Intermediate Skills: Visual Basic, HTML, SQL
  • Advanced Skills: JDA CKB, SSIS.
  • Category Management and Direct Account Management (3-5 Yrs.)
