Worlds of Fun is a part of Cedar Fair Entertainment Company (NYSE: FUN), an amusement park leader with 11 locations in North America. \\nWe are searching for a high-energy, focused and motivated individual to maintain and coordinate effective management of food concessions and restaurants at Worlds of Fun. This individual will ensure that all food and beverage products offered are of the highest quality, that divisional and park standards are met at all times, and that the highest profit margins possible are achieved without sacrificing any Cedar Fair Cornerstone.\\nThe essential duties this individual will perform include:\\nRegularly inspects all food and beverage facilities to ensure appropriate staffing levels; good employee work performance and guest service; unit maintenance and sanitation; proper food storage, production and presentation; and adequate levels of food stocks, paper goods and supplies. Takes corrective action when needed.\\nRecruits, selects, trains and supervises seasonal employees in area of responsibility. Coaches and counsels as appropriate. Recognizes, responds to and resolves employee concerns and problems. Takes prompt action when appropriate, ensuring proper documentation of such. Ensures strict compliance with all federal, state, and municipal labor laws, especially those involving the employment of minors. Interacts closely with employees so as to minimize the loss of company assets due to employee theft and/or misuse.\\nAnnually prepares proposed revenue, cost of sales, labor and expense budgets for the Food & Beverage Division. Submits same to Director for review and input. Monitors financial reports for areas of responsibility and takes corrective action when appropriate.\\nFor consideration, candidates must have the following qualifications:\\nA high school diploma or the equivalent and the knowledge that is normally acquired through an Associate degree in Food & Beverage Management or other related field.\\nTwo or more years_ experience in multi-unit food operations management.\\nKnowledge of all Kansas City, Missouri Health and Safety Codes/Regulations and the ability to acquire and maintain a Kansas City, Missouri Health Department Food Handler's Permit.\\nAbility to acquire and maintain a valid liquor license.\\nKnowledge of food preparation, service and quality; menu development; and labor and food cost controls.\\nManagement skills and the ability to train, supervise, and motivate service staff. Understanding of and ability to enforce all pertinent labor laws including those pertaining to minor labor.\\nAbility to operate standard office machines as well as equipment listed:\\nStandard commercial food service equipment: ovens, fryers, grills, coffee machines, steamers, dishwashers, slicers, etc.\\nIBM-type PC and related printer\\nCash register\\nForklift\\nPallet jack\\nHand-held two-way radio\\nVehicles (including golf carts)\\nValid driver license\\nFor consideration, qualified applicants should submit a letter of application, resume and salary history to Human Resources (...@worldsoffun.com).\\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
