Position Summary
A successful Custody Operations Specialist will bring a continuous improvement mindset to a growing asset management and trust custody operation. We are looking for a proven self-starter with an owner/operator mentality who must bring strong ownership and accountability to the organization. The Custody Operations Specialist will bring a strong compliance mindset, excellent oral and written communication skills, and passion for excellence. Timely, clear, and responsive communication with various teams throughout the organization is required. They should also bring a passion for joining a team that is building a market-leading business.

Responsibilities:
* Review, reconcile, apply cost basis to, trade, and allocate in-kind assets received
* Accurately process all income payments including dividends, interest, and principal paydowns
* Process and post all corporate actions both taxable and non-taxable including but not limited to stock splits, mergers, spin-offs, name/cusip changes, and stock dividends
* Conduct daily price valuation of securities held in client accounts including obtaining price information from multiple sources, and resolving variances
* Fast, accurate, and consistent processing of security set up and maintenance
* Process trade files from multiple managers and ensure accurate posting of all trades to trust accounting system
* Facilitate trade execution of mutual fund orders through Fundserv trading tools and direct trade order communication to fund companies
* Accurately process all transaction and data imports from vendors, business partners, and external managers
* Be an active participant in problem resolution process including providing responsive and thoughtful feedback to complex customer facing inquiries
* Ensure immediate and accurate resolution of all reconciliation outages resulting from trading, income, and corporate actions
