General Labor

Candidate will be working as a general production worker at a Jerky's warehouse. General Labor Positions: Packers, Stackers, Manual Diverter. All Position will be working in the production room. Candidates will work on the line where jerky is run through a machine and put into bags. these bags need to be put into a machine which seals the bag before exiting the room into the warehouse. Candidates must ensure the product makes it into the bags, and the bags are loaded into the sealing machine, and that the bags are actually sealed before leaving the room. Responsible for packing and unpacking boxes. Sorting packages. While working in the actual production area where product is being packed candidates will need to load and unload product up to 40 lbs at a time. Additionally, General Labor assistance deemed necessary for daily production. May involve having job classification altered due to production needs. May require Job position to be changed due to production needs and employee count on daily basis. May Include Lifting up to 40lbs, walking with 40lbs, bending, and standing, and sitting, repetitive movement, loading, stacking and packing. When in "the box" actually packaging and working with the product, candidates will wear gloves, masks, boots on their shoes, and aprons. In the box candidates will also be working around different types of jerky. With this they will be exposed to jalapenos flavors, different peppers, and other spices. If candidates know they have issues with these foods please be aware on the front end.

Based on production needs there are times that candidates will need to work overtime, 10 hour days sometimes six days a week. candidates should be open to working this but cannot count on the overtime from a compensation standpoint
