About this job
- This position is responsible for preparing and modifying designs of: substations, electrical distribution systems, lighting plans and individual machine electrical control circuits. Investigates special items and recommends action to be taken.
- They will be designing in AutoCad Electrical 2014
- Makes design layouts involving knowledge of electrical machines, components and circuitry.
- Makes drawings of electrical substations, distribution, lighting, and machine controls.
- Prepares bill of materials, specification sheets, procedures, instruction and any technical work necessary to complete designs and assignments.
- Maintains working records and prepares reports and correspondence concerning design of electrical installations.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, related field or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of Electrical design/drafting experience
- Ability to understand electrical systems and electrical components
- Can design a panel layout
- *design capabilities in AutoCad Electrical 2014
- * Any pdf editor (at least experience using one)
