Integration and Test Engineer

Aerotek Engineering is hiring a Test Engineer for a full-time direct position with one of our major clients in Manassas, VA!

In this position you will be responsible to install, configure, test and most importantly, integrate platforms with major mobile operators and technology companies. The end product you will be doing the testing for is the SIM cards that goes in cell phones used for android/apple pay. You will need to you your previous experience on Unix based systems, databases, programming/scripting and networking, to make sure to fulfill their customers' expectations according to individual orders.

This company provides banknote and securities printing, smart cards, and cash handling systems for countries and companies around the world. Their US headquarters has several hundred employees and they will be supporting the Mobile Security group. They will report to the Test Engineer manager and be working in a small team of 5. They are a commercial company and their office was just redone so it is very cool environment with glass offices and white boards everywhere. Very open and "new-age" style with half-walled cubicles.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline (open to seeing candidate with associates if they have increased experience)
* Experience with testing methodology, equipment, and software tools preferred (need to be able to write their own test scripts which is closely associated with manual testing background
* Knowledge of programming language or scripting required , C++ is ideal but not required
* Experience developing test cases and scripts for embedded software
