A growing bank in downtown Seattle is looking to hire a skilled commercial insurance administrative assistant for a 3 month contract with possibility of extension or hired on direct for the right candidate. Basic excel skills required and intermediate excel skills and able to perform V-lookups and pivot tables a bonus. and if have experience with Onbase computer system a bonus. Willing to look at candidate from the insurance and real estate industry and if have worked as a bank teller can train for this role. This role will receive about 20-30 emails daily and will have to perform about 20-30 outbound calls daily to track down commercial property policy., memorandums, and declarations. thus strong customer service skills . The role is needed to perform administrative tasks (data input, document tracking and imaging, follow up insurance agent calls) currently performed by specialized Insurance Specialists, creating additional capacity for the Specialists to undertake a CRE portfolio-wide insurance compliance reconciliation project that is anticipated to take 6 months.

Role will perform administrative tasks of requesting, tracking and receiving insurance policy documents from CRE borrowers and agents; input policy and property data to CRE servicing platform; administer document imaging an dupload to OnBase; initiate follow up efforts (email/phone) to borrower insurance agents for outstanding policy documents.
The hourly wage is $20-22 an hour and does require a pre-employment background check. The shift is 8a.m. -5p.m.
