Sr. Level Mechanical Designer - Full-time / Part-time

Senior level designer for a six month contract!

• Job Description: Works with some latitude and minimal supervision, performs diverse and intermediate level design assignments. Typically works in an NPI environment, although assignments to IR&D may occur, where creative mechanization of design concepts are turned into new product/tooling. Designs could be done also on a more complex level - not only designing LRUs but also working on complete systems with all elements of the life cycle process in accordance with the PLC process.
• Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in mechanical design. The ideal candidate must have had at least some experience designing in Creo/Proe. The ideal candidate must have experience taking a product from concept to production. Experience with FEA/CFD is a plus but not required. Experience with valves/actuators is a plus but not required.
• Additional Information: Majority of work will be done in an office setting, however contractor will spend some time on the manufacturing floor. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and have reliable transportation.
