Aerotek is currently hiring a CAD technician for a large manufacturing company in Quincy, IL
This position will provide Manufacturing support for new products, current production processes and quality improvements.
Responsibilities:
1. Support internal and contract manufacturing and all production processes including process improvements from a technical aspect. This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of finished good bills of material, routings, and other MRP related data for existing products, performing process time studies when appropriate, working with others for process validation.
2. Create and maintain work instructions
3. Investigate operational problems affecting production and dealing with them in a systematic, methodical manner.
4. Implements and analyzes manufacturing engineering plans and projects.
5. Provide disposition and corrective action for workmanship and material discrepancies.
Qualifications:
1. AutoCAD
2. Manufacturing/Production Experience
3. Mechanical Aptitude
