Structural Designer

NC based engineering firm is seeking individuals to work in our CAD Drafting Department. Our preferred candidates will have some experience in CAD Drafting and Design. Ideal candidate will work with a team of other drafters and designers to perform structural engineering and building design services for production home builders, custom home builders, and light commercial construction.

The candidate must have experience with Structural Engineering and Analysis for wood framing, masonry shear walls, reinforced concrete foundations, steel columns, light-gage metal curtain walls and open web steel joist. They must have experience with Auto Cad 2010. They would also like some one who has experience with the design of segmental retaining walls but this is not mandatory.
