A leading fire suppression company is seeking Service Technicians and an experienced Sprinkler Fitter!

No certifications necessary, but Journeyman level experience and familiarity with NICET certifications highly preferred. Willingness to obtain NICET certification with our company reimbursement also highly preferred. Our position is full time, allows consistent employment, and provides a great company culture.

PAY: $20-$35

SHIFT: Monday - Friday- Day shift

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete inspection, service, repair and installation of pre-engineered fire suppression sprinkler systems. In addition, contractors may occasionally inspect other "life safety systems" such as smoke detectors, emergency lighting, or door alarms. Candidates must maintain documentation of work performed, maintain proper stock of equipment, parts and supplies, and professionally represent the company at all times. Main Job Responsibilities: * Installing/servicing wet, dry, pre-action and deluge sprinkler systems * Maintain documentation of work performed * Lift/move items weighing up to 40 lbs * Conduct work with minimal supervision - Large portion of communication with Tech will be on a hand held radio * Perform work in sometimes unusual and difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, and high lift equipment. Could be in ducts, crawl spaces, ceilings etc * Conduct excellent customer service

QUALIFICATIONS:

BEST VS AVERAGE: * Commercial Fire Sprinkler Maintenance * Sprinkler fitting experience * Experience in inspection and repair of suppression equipment * Plumbing or commercial maintenance background

REQUIRED FOR BOTH ROLES: **MUST HAVE FIRE SPRINKLER EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma * Valid Drivers License * Able to pass a 10 year background & drug screen * Steady work history/tenure * Steel toed boots * Mechanically inclined - Great familiarity with hand tools & power tools * Strong written & verbal communication skills * Someone with great attendance and punctuality * Strong organizational skills * Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds * Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions * Ability to adhere to and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times * Must be proficient in the use of personal computers

FOR SPRINKLER FITTER:

Prefer NICET Level 2 or 3 Certification in Water Based Systems. * 3-5 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry. * Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals. * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. * Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs. * Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc * Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements. * Able to participate in an on call rotation schedule. * Overnight travel may be required. * Demonstrate a high level of customer service. * Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs. * Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times. * Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. * Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements. * Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test. * Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes
