Civil Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Looking to hire a mid-level Civil Engineer for a full time position. This is for a project with ComEd to review designs of roadways within the City of Chicago. ComEd has plans for expansion within Chicago and needs a consultant who can go through traffic operations and review roadway plans to ensure feasibility.

Main Responsibilities:
Sit on-site for reviewing roadway plans and designs
Take designs through the permitting process
Make sure that designs meet maintenance of traffic (MOT) standards
Review traffic operations to better understand how ComEd construction would affect this
Act as the liaison between the team on site and Engineering office

Communicate with clients when necessary to better understand certain design specifications or traffic operations
Complete thorough documentation on each permit and project review.
