Kitchen Tune Up Installation Associate - Full-time / Part-time

The Sears Outlet Store in Parma, OH  has an immediate opening for a Kitchen Tune Up Technician.

What is Kitchen Tune Up? Kitchen Tune - Up specializes in affordable kitchen remodeling, refacing, new cabinets, bathroom remodeling & wood restoration.

The Technician is a project oriented, highly motivated individual that works independently, with an attention to detail to complete as quality project within the committed timeline. The Technician must present themselves with respect in the customer's home whether completing an in-home project or assisting with an in-home quote and measurements. This position works on an hourly compensation plan with an ability to earn a financial incentive based on leads generated.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides exceptional phone and face-to-face customer interaction that includes educating the customer on services being provided
• Follows all required Kitchen Tune-Up processes and programs
• Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
• Arrives at the jobsite on time and in appropriate attire with proper tools
• Reviews layout of the kitchen with customer to ensure all measuring components are accurate
• Covers all products sold to ensure they match the contract
• Effectively works with the KTU Salesperson to ensure the order is to the expectation of the customer
• Ensures all project paperwork required for the job is completed including customer contract signed
• Coordinate with the appropriate partners to ensure products and materials are ordered to complete the job desired by the customer, on time
• Reviews all aspects of the home to ensure a safe working environment
• Completes clean up of work area, surroundings, and packaging materials utilized during the project
• Performs customer interaction during the project, including final inspection, document completion, and collection of final payment as needed
• Completes required ongoing training to stay current including reviewing the Kitchen Tune-Up Resource Site weekly
• Meets with the Store Manager weekly to discuss goals and job completion timelines
• Completes weekly equipment and supply inventory and reports any discrepancies
• Ensures all equipment and supplies are properly secured in the vehicle
• Ensures safe driving of company vehicles, which includes without limitation no use of cell phones, no speeding or other motor vehicle violations, and no aggressive driving
• Maintains basic safety and maintenance of company vehicles, which includes without limitation conducting daily safety inspections, checking oil levels, water and tire pressure
• Maintains driver log and properly checks out and in the vehicle with the manager on duty each day
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
