Up to $30.00 /hr, depending on experience.  Pelham area.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-4 years’ bookkeeping experience
  • 2 yr. college degree min.
  • Strong general ledger experience/skills; accounting knowledge
  • Experience with software of a higher level than Quickbooks is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills – NOT a job for someone who wants to sit in corner and work alone
  • Reconciliation of equipment inventory experience a plus
  • Ability to effectively handle all aspects of full charge bookkeeping, including:
    • General ledger
    • Bank reconciliation
    • Posting of deposits
    • Management of A/R & A/P processes
    • Working with insurance dept. to ensure accuracy and improved collection rate
    • Preparation of monthly sales tax reports
    • DOES NOT include payroll processing
  • Experience with budgeting / forecasting a plus
  • Drug-free workplace; background screening
