Glass Production Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary: A Custom Glass company is looking for a high detailed production employee to join their team.   Duties will include but not limited to cleaning, prepping, taping and masking the glass. Other duties will include the operation of a CNC spray paint machine, load glass into the machine, inspect, package, label and prep finished product for shipping.  This is a family owned business with a focus on team work, flexibility, and accountability to one’s team.  All employees will be cross trained in all work stations.   

Location: Grand Rapids, SE

Position Type: Full-time, Evaluation Hire

Pay: $12.50

Schedule: 2nd shift 3:30pm – 1:30am Monday – Thursday; occasional over time on Fridays

Qualifications: The qualities that best matches this position will be a high attention to details. A sense of strong team work as well as good communication skills. This position will require working as a team to reach production requirements while maintaining high level of quality standards. Measuring is key for all candidates and they must be able to measure to a 16th of an inch.  Lifting 40-50lbs on average but can be 75lbs and team lifting 150lbs. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred, but not required.
