Job Summary: Grand Rapids manufacturer has a full-time job opening for a TIG Welder on 1st shift. This is a skilled welding position. The TIG Welder fabricates and assembles stainless steel parts through following blueprints/mechanical engineering drawings. The position starts with stainless steel to TIG weld various assemblies. Candidate will be welding finished products and inspecting product for quality standards of client and design specifications. Position requires use of several measurement tools to maintain standards. This position requires welding experience in light gauge, sheet metal, stainless steel experience.
Location: Grand Rapids SW
Position Type: Full-Time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: $16.00-$18.00/hr
Schedule: 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm
Qualifications: This position requires a mechanically inclined individual. Candidate must have TIG welding experience with stainless steel and be able to read blueprints. A history of excellent attendance and punctuality is required. Above par math, measurement, and manual dexterity are essential to the success of this position. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred, but not required.
