Job Summary: Grand Rapids, MI manufacturing company is hiring a Finish Stainer to join their operations. This position works with wood products used in the furniture industry and will complete tasks such as sanding, hanging, painting, and staining products. As a Finishing Stainer, the candidate is responsible to operate the finishing line in an efficient manner, complete paperwork accurately, and perform job set-ups as needed and pursue training opportunities which further job skills. Candidate can be staining, sanding, cleaning, preparing wood surfaces using an orbital sander or other tools. Finishers also inspect parts to look for flaws and load and unload parts from the finish line.
Location: Grand Rapids
Position Type: Evaluation Hire, Full-Time
Pay: $12.00-$14.00/hr depending on experience
Schedule: 1st shift
Qualifications: Detail-oriented candidates who can work in a fast-paced environment are encouraged to apply. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred, but not required.
