Warehouse Worker [--3rd Shift--]

PrideStaff is working with a large established company in Affton, MO to locate a hardworking Warehouse Worker to work in a fast-paced, never-boring, warehouse in a full-time, temporary-to-hire position.

HOURS: 9:30pm - 5:00am

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Place and secure slings on large pumps and valves on hoist or overhead crane to position or align such parts for assembly
- Mount, fit, and align parts to insure free action and movement, tolerance fit an operating requirements, following details drawings
- Place acid pump in tower using hoist, connection to steam jacket to test for water and air leaks
- Pressure test valves for leakage following established guidelines
- Transport finished pumps and valves to shipping using overhead crane, forklift, or hand dolly
- Quick thinker
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to use basic computer operation skills
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to read a ruler
- Must be able to use hand and bench power tools, torsion wrenches, forming jigs, and assembly fixtures

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Fork lift certified preferred

- Must have consistent and reliable means of transportation
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
- Must be willing to submit to a physical to be paid by Client
- Must be able to provide 2 work references (no personal references please)
