About this job

Job Overview:

Provides end user support for all Macintosh computer users. Performs daily calibration and maintenance of printers. Provides application support for all desktop publishing, multimedia, MCEADS and Catchit Mac Applications. Implements software and hardware rollouts and new user set-ups and upgrades. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Supports publishing, graphics, photography, advertising, prepress and retouching applications, and Mac OS, Catchit and MCEADS systems.
• Enters all service desk issues into ticketing system and escalates as needed.
• Conducts routine maintenance operations.
• Performs hardware/software installs and upgrades.
• Performs project management.
• Updates and creates documentation related to software and hardware support for current Mac users.
• Provides additional support to Service Desk Manager.
• Consistently demonstrates regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• High school required.
• 1 to 2 years of experience supporting graphics, photography, publishing, advertising, prepass and retouching workflows preferred.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents.

Mathematical Skills:

• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and analytical skills.

Reasoning Ability:

• Strong analysis/troubleshooting skills and strong partnering/relationship building skills.
• Ability to consider options and make business decisions (e.g. selection of tools/methodologies).
