Description

Quality Supervisor

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all quality standards from the receipt of raw materials through the production and release of finished goods that meet Dr Pepper Snapple Group’s quality standards.

Position Shift and Schedule

This is a full time permanent position working on the 1st shift. The hours for the 1st shift are Monday through Thursday from 4:30am to 3:30pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate the training and performance management of team members in the performance of lab analysis and line functions.
  2. Responsible for the continual monitoring of all products during manufacture to assure conformance to established product specifications.
  3. Provide the necessary technical support to the plant in the areas of processing, packaging and ingredient evaluation.
  4. Participate in the planning, organization and implementation of special projects.
  5. Must have effective communication and leadership skills as well as developed analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.

  7. Cross train with other quality functions including lab technicians, batchers, waste water supervisor and document control coordinator to assist with breaks and vacation coverage.
  8. Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
  • Prior supervisory or management experience
  • Prior quality experience in a production manufacturing environment
  • 2 years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
