Scope of Responsibility: This position is responsible for directing responsibilities for a field staff of Managers that support over 5000 locations and technicians in the field
Job Summary: Works with Asset & Profit Protection leadership and support teams to develop Asset & Profit Protection and Safety strategies and programs that support the needs of the client and business format. Provides disciplined leadership including setting clear expectations and holding team and self-accountable for the defined performance results.

  • Job Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Selects, develops and manages performance of Asset & Profit Protection team, measured by appropriate LP metrics, Outlier Reports, Business Scorecard, retention, internal promotions, and training continuum.
    • Consistently delivers acceptable compliance in all business formats measured by internal audits, KPI performance, SFS/SFP Program compliance, Compliance Outlier Reports
    • Visits each assigned business formats each year. Measures compliance by Field APP Visit recaps.
    • Focuses and invests time in stores and facilities on core processes and standards that impact Asset & Profit Protection and safety compliance, and defined performance results.
    • Monitors and proactively addresses outliers related to controllable costs, profit, margin, operational processes and compliance as measured through appropriate scorecard/reports.
    • Creates and maintains a culture of winning that resonates with associates.
    • Builds effective cross-functional business partnerships within the assigned businesses
    • Oversees the development, implementation, execution, and effectiveness of all Asset & Profit Protection initiatives and strategies designed to ensure the achievement of the organizations shrink and safety goals.
    • Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates.
Job Requirements:
  • Education Experience: Bachelor's Level Degree
  • Travel Requirements: 50%
  • Minimum of seven (7) years experience managing in a retail environment or equivalent industry experience; previous experience managing remote teams is preferred.
  • Retail Asset & Profit Protection experience is required with experience leading senior level Asset & Profit Protection executives.
  • Knowledge of financial operations and processes, analytical skills to analyze information, identify root causes and develop/implement approved solutions.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of internal and external team members and customers.
  • Experience selecting, assessing, coaching and developing managers, preferably in retail environment.
  • Ability to form strong partnerships across the organization.
  • Microsoft Office computer skills including Word,
  • Ability to influence activities and results of those who are not direct reports
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience in corporate and cross formats are preferred.
