Arnot Health - Arnot Ogden Medical Center- Elmira, New York  Per Diem, Evening    Job Summary: The Clinical Laboratory Assistant 2 (CLA2) is responsible for performing the non-technical tasks, as assigned, within the Laboratory.                                                                        Education Requirements: High school graduate. CLA 2 is an entry level position for new hires who have completed the BOCES Phlebotomy Course or the equivalent in training or who have a minimum of 3 months of phlebotomy experience.    Experience Requirements: Two years of training and/or work experience in health care or data processing helpful but not mandatory.     ***2 Holidays per year required and every 3rd Weekend.*** *** Phlebotomy clinical training is preferred.*** ***Expect a lot of standing or walking when assigned in Specimen Processing or Draw Stations.*** ***Attention to detail and accuracy of manual computer entry.*** ***History of excellent attendance is required.***   Arnot Health strives to be the employer of choice for health care professionals!
