Automotive/Diesel Mechanic

Kansas City Transportation Group, an established ground transportation company in a near-downtown location, is looking for a full-time, experienced Diesel/Automotive Mechanic for their on-site auto repair and maintenance facility.

Ideal candidate must be skilled in maintenance, brake, suspension, diagnostic and electrical with MVI certificate or the ability to get it. Prior experience working with a large fleet environment preferable. Mechanics must possess own tools, have reliable transportation, and work well with others as well as able to work independently.

Requirements:

• MVI certificate or the ability to get it
• Familiar with a variety of vehicle types
• + 2 years experience in automotive maintenance, brake, suspension, diagnostic and electrical repairs
• Possess own tools
• Highly dependable with reliable transportation
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Full time, 40 hours/week with possibility of overtime. Evening and weekends may be required
• Candidates must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
