Summary
The position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for small wares, cooking equipment, utensils, etc., also the cleanliness of the facility infrastructure and outside perimeter of the facility, using manual and automated cleaning methods as outlined in the facility SOPa??s. This position also ensures all areas are maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.

The position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for small wares, cooking equipment, utensils, etc., also the cleanliness of the facility infrastructure and outside perimeter of the facility, using manual and automated cleaning methods as outlined in the facility SOPa??s. This position also ensures all areas are maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Sort, scrape, rinse, wash, rinse and sanitize small wares, cookware, and food storage containers, cooking utensils in the ware wash machine or the 3-compartment sink.
- Clean and sanitized production equipment and accessories. Remove trash and garbage and recyclables from all production, break room, bathroom and offices areas to dumpster.
- Clean and sanitize walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows and drains as outlined in the sop cleaning procedures, set up or break down dishwashing area.
- Clean and roll/unroll mats.
- Clean and sanitize hand sinks, bath room and turn table sanitation area
- Fill/empty tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
- Sweep/mop floors using the broom, dustpan, mop with mop bucket and floor scrubbing machine.
- Assemble/disassemble 3 compartment sink, ware wash machine and floor scrubber.
- Sweep and pickup up trash around exterior of the facility and garbage dumpster.
- Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain clean and dry.
- Never touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing hands first.
- Other duties as directed.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work with other people in close quarters.
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
- Continuous use of hands and arms. Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
- Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
- Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (Coolers, ovens, Freezer, etc.)
- Must be able to work legally.
