Bussers & Dishwashers provide a very important role in our restaurant. They keep the beat of the place going and ensure the tables are prepared immediately for the next party. They also ensure the guests are attended to if the wait staff is busy. They also restock utensils, napkins and see to other dining room needs.
We will train you.
Dishwasher, Busser, Busboy, Busperson is generally offered as a part time restaurant job.
Dishwashers, Busser, Busboy, Busperson Responsibilities

• Prior experience as a Busser, Busboy, Busperson, restaurant crew member, runner, food runner or other part time restaurant jobs is highly desirable.
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand. Clean tableware.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. Remove trash.
• Sweep or scrub floors. Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
• Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas.
• Stock serving stations or dining areas with food or supplies.
• Prepare and package individual place settings. Package food or supplies.
• Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving. Prepare foods for cooking or serving.
• Receive and store supplies. Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam. Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
• Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Move equipment, supplies or food to required locations.
• Set up banquet tables. Arrange tables or dining areas.

Requirements:

• Minimal experience is required. Attitude is everything!
• Pleasant personality with focus on guest satisfaction.
• Team player and willing to go the extra mile - or so
• Punctual, patient, and mindful
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
