The Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites Seattle Issaquah, managed by The Hotel Group (THGa??) is looking for a courteous, customer service driven, happy, energetic, ambitious, inspired, ego-free, and 'open for business' type Sales and Event Coordinator to join our growing hospitality team! Summary of position: This position performs support duties to the Director of Sales and aid in managing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals (i.e., room nights, ADR, REVPAR, room rental, etc.) are achieved or exceeded. Assist in the development and solicitation of business from all markets to ensure the necessary advance bookings needed for a successful and profitable operation for the hotel. This position performs catering sales support duties and aids in managing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all catering revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. This positions coordinates the development and solicitation of business from all markets to ensure the necessary advance bookings needed for a successful and profitable catering operation for the hotel. Qualifications: Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy. Ability to access and accurately input information into a computer using Microsoft Office applications. Prior administrative or hospitality experience preferred.
