We rely on the Admissions Director's expertise to build and grow census and quality mix by developing the market, and providing prospective patients/responsible parties with appropriate information and assistance in choosing a nursing center. In addition to excellent written/verbal communication, problem solving and decision making abilities, our candidate will possess the ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team.
Primary responsibility of the Admissions Director is to develop relationships with a growing base of referral sources, leading to a consistent flow of quality referrals to the center. Majority of time allocated to external sales development.

  • Actively seeks out and identifies new referral sources
  • Maintains a current prioritized account list

2 years sales experience, preferred in health care services, products or pharmaceuticals.
Job Specific Details:
The admissions director will be responsible to build and grow census and a quality mix by developing and providing prospective patients and or respective parties with appropriate information in assisting to choosing the nursing center. In this role the candidate must be able to:
Attend and participate in scheduled in -service training, educational classes and meeting.
Must regularly spend time engaged in Selling and marketing the facility.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the centers products and services, acuity, capabilities, and physician relations.
Consistently employs "IMPACT Selling", leading to an appropriate customer commitment.
Effectively have knowledge and use SAMS/SIMS systems and tools to manage referrals.
Actively manages long and short-term inquiries to establish relationships in quality admissions.
Must be able to effectively develop a marketing planed and budget and manages available resources to meet the centers objectives
Must have a working knowledge of local market trends and competition.
Must be able to complete Environmental Analysis
The admission Director will report directly to the Administrator and must have a minimal of five years experience in a snf setting.
