Essential Job Requirements:
  • Assisting callers with inquiries regarding career development events, initiatives and programs;
  • Handling logistics and other tasks related to Lowenstein University training events for our Business Services Group ("BSG") including:
o securing appropriate venues and coordinating with Recruiting manager, faculty, Catering, IT and Office Services to ensure the delivery of seamless training events;
o preparing sign-in/sign-out sheets, program evaluation forms and course offering announcements;
o Entering, updating and monitoring course listings, registrations and completions in the Firm's learning management system;
  • Reviewing and processing attorney reimbursement requests;
  • Providing support to the Director in regard to the annual budgeting process;
  • Handling the logistics for miscellaneous career development related meetings (i.e.; reserving conference rooms, checking on participant availability, etc.) and helping the Director ready materials for those meetings
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably within a Human Resources department;
  • 4-year college degree;
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint);
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong writing and project management skills;
  • Must display enthusiasm, a positive and upbeat attitude, and embrace challenges as customer service opportunities;
  • Must be able to represent oneself professionally as a representative of the firm in an array of situations, interacting with all levels of the organization and various external resources
Office Location: Roseland
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
