Overview
An Energy Efficiency Field Representative for CLEAResult is responsible for increasing consumer awareness of energy efficient products, such as lighting and major appliances, used in our homes every day.
The primary role of the field representative is to establish a professional rapport and visit targeted (retail) sales channels throughout an assigned territory. During these visits, the field representative will engage in product pricing audits. The field rep will perform light merchandising and labeling intended to increase visibility of our promotions as well as highlight the value proposition of our targeted products. Our team members also conduct in-store training events with both store personnel and consumers, providing education and empowerment on the benefits being offered through our promotional efforts.

The field representative will spend about 80 percent of their time driving to and visiting established accounts. The field representative will build and maintain relationships with accounts and act as a professional liaison between our client, corporate office and partners.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct field visits to assigned channels within the territory
  • Train store owners/managers, sales associates, and other employees on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct pricing audits and ad hoc data collections/verifications
  • Provide light merchandising services to all accounts on a regular basis
  • Schedule and staff in-store promotions
  • Schedule and conduct retail associate training sessions
  • Schedule and conduct consumer training sessions and/or promotional events (including evenings and weekends)
  • Submit merchandising photographs to home office as requested
  • Submit timesheet to home office daily
  • Call home office periodically for check-ins
  • Provide services within the parameters of the terms and conditions set forth by company client
  • Make recommendations that can enhance our delivery of services
  • Attend all company training events, scheduled staff meetings and conference calls
  • Identify and set up new accounts
Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • Maintain a residence within client territory
  • Lift up to 40 pounds
  • Experience in Retail, Retail Merchandising and/or accounts management
  • Experience managing a territory of stores to visit
  • Be able to drive an automobile for long distances/time-frames
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel and Outlook)
  • Be friendly, outgoing, organized, efficient, able to work well independently and as part of a team; this position requires a person who is self-motivated, reliable and flexible
  • Feel comfortable presenting information one-on-one and in front of large groups in a clear, concise and friendly manner
