ON-CALL POSITION
MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE
Position Summary: Promptly and courteously assist guests in making purchases in a clean and attractive environment. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's "Great" Service Standards at all times.
2. Approach guests with a friendly greeting and a pleasant smile in a timely manner. 3. Accurately handle all money and credit card transactions. 4. Maintain on a daily basis the cleanliness of all the merchandise and the physical property of the gift shop. 5. Unpack, mark and stock merchandise on a daily basis. 6. Ensure that the gift shop is a safe environment for guests and staff. 7. Ensure overall guest satisfaction. 8. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
Minimum Qualifications: 1. A minimum of one-year retail experience is preferred. 2. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements: 1. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. 2. Ability to stand and move around gift shop for duration of shift. 3. Must be able to reach a height up to 6 feet with or without assistance. 4. Ability to climb and use a stepladder when necessary to perform functions of the job. 5. Basic math skills required. 6. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment. 7. Required normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
